Greetings, Jinks!
I like this. It's a look both forward to your life and a look at your past life, and seeing how you can improve yourself in the years to come. We've all done things in our lives we've regretted, but hopefully we manage to learn from these, and writing down how we can better ourselves like this is great!
I don't think you know it since your pretty new here, but every year this site has a contest (or sorts) called the Dear Me contest, which is where we do exactly this. It doesn't have to be poetic, just a simple letter to ourselves about what we want to improve on ourselves. I think it happens around the beginning of the year...
Anyway, well done, Jinks!
As for a technical poetic review, I thought it was good, but I'm hardly an expert on poetry. From what I saw though, the rhyming words were great, but the meter (syllable count, right?) seemed just a tad bumpy in a couple stanzas! But like I said, I'm no expert on poetry!

PS-You might want to get your bioblock (biography) set up so we can know a little something more about you (hobbies, favorite books/authors, location, etc.), but that's up to you, of course.
