I'm sending this review as part of I Write in 2019. I'm reviewing this as my bonus review, and because it is your WDC anniversary. Happy 6th Anniversary!!

My Impression
Like many of your other poems, this certainly doesn't disappoint. The subtle rhymes, the extended metaphor, and the overall structure of this are very nice. Though it's free verse, it does have some semblance of structure which I like.

Suggestions
No suggestions. I like the increased font size and the title. Can't see anything that I would change.

Rating Explanation
This is truly a 5 poem. It's definitely relatable, and the last line pulls the whole thing together. Love it! Good luck in the contest, and happy WDC anniversary!!
