Greetings, Isaac!
This isn't bad for flash fiction piece, and I like the concept of this princess finding somebody to help guide her as she prepares to take over her kingdom. But you didn't use the prompt phrase!
The spelling and grammar were good, but you have to use the prompt phrase, which is "Nobody is home". In quotation marks.
By the way, since you're new here, here's a hint about this contest: the owner/judge, Arakun the Twisted Raccoon, really likes twisted/surprise endings. You might want to keep that in mind if or when you enter this contest again! *Bigsmile*
