Hello there, Wright!
This is pretty interesting. I like the way you started it, and it certainly is a 'thinking' piece. But then you kind of went a lot deeper, almost to the point where it sounded (to me at least) as if you were preaching. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm just sayin'.
That one part, 'let it be known that tomorrow was once my past' really stuck with me, so much so that I'm still thinking about it! I think it could have different meanings for different people, but for me, my past is my tomorrow. Not that I can't change it (tomorrow), but...stop! Brain freeze! Too much information... *Crazy*
Seriously though, I like some of those metaphors and similes you used in the latter part of this, and the spelling and grammar was flawless (thank you!).
Life without retest? How about 'Life without reSET?'
For something just off the top of your head, this ain't bad.
