Greetings, Harlow Flick, and happy 18th 'birthday' on here!
For a short FF piece, this is good! I write horror, so I was intrigued with that byline, and you pulled it off well! I also enjoyed how you kept us in suspense right up to the very end wondering just what that terrible creature was that was about to attack you!
Could it be...SATAN? (*Laugh* Sorry-just had a flashback from The Church Lady on an old Saturday Night Live skit!)
Seriously though, I've heard of people really doing this in landfills, and your descriptions were great!
I also like how you threw us a curve ball with that line about a disposable diaper absorbing a trickle of blood from its mouth.
