Greetings, Bill!
This, like all of your stories, is pretty good!
I like the idea of you following your little sis up to that graveyard and into that mausoleum, only to find her 'praying' (for lack of a better word) to that creature (that she created? *Shock2*) as it hovered over the 'mishmash of human bones and remains'. And the descriptions you used for the creature itself were perfectly gruesome: 'oozing putrescence, rot, and decayed bones of all kinds'! *Smirk2*
But it was the creature's demand that it hear your screams that was the focal point, and having it grab your throats was cool. Thankfully, you were smart to enough to grab that manuscript and save yourself at that last moment.
I'm not too sure about the ending, though. The part about how the creature died was good, but that last line seemed a little anti-climactic, at least in the way it was worded, anyway. But that's just my opinion, for what that's worth!
One typo:
"And now you will die(.) human." (comma)
