Thing Signature Made For tHiNg!

What brought OctOGRE thIng meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Pointright* I am a judge for the "Journey Through Genres: Official Contest. Thanks for entering!

What does tHiNg think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* This made me laugh out loud, which is a good thing. The poor guy can't say much right can he? He reminds me of Moseley on Downton Abbey. Are you familiar with that hapless character? If he were ever to propose, I anticipate something along these lines and he's supposed to be in the 1920's. He rarely gets much right.

Trying to be politically correct in these current confusing times inevitably leads into a lot of trouble. I feel great empathy for the young man in this as I laugh at him. Truly, I do. *Laugh*

What does tHiNg applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* To me a comedy story should make one laugh out loud and yours did that. I can hear it in my head as dialogue. It reminds me of some of the complicated, fast talking on a TV show called, The Gilmore Girls. This snappy dialogue could be at home on any TV show or movie and leave the viewer/reader very amused in the process.

In other words, I loved it!

Thanks again for entering the contest and giving me something very funny to read!

P.S. My reviews are my reactions to what I have read. They are not meant to be harsh critiques or wildly critical editing forays because that is not what I enjoy here. It is all about me, you see this review. It is also about your story, which I enjoyed immensely! I value my reading and seeing what creativity writers bring to the table and I am pleased to read and review your work as always - you always bring a lot to the table - well done! I also appreciate the work and effort it takes to enter the site contest very much. Sometimes I write things and lose my nerve because I can't bear to think the judges wouldn't like something I've written so I know it takes a lot of moxie to put one's work out there.

This review was written and stored in my review tool on the morning of October 5, 2019. It is to be sent out within 48 hours of when the winners are announced so if it is not timely in any respect, chalk it up to that delay. Don't blame me for it if it seems untimely, in other words. Never blame HOOves or tHing! *Laugh* This is a motto I try to get the world to live by. Good luck to me.

Your story put me in a giggling mood and I thank you for that - very much again!
