Greetings, Zelda Zonk!
For a beginning to a story, I think you've got something here, even if it is rather brief and we don't know what it's going to be about.
BUT...that's entirely up to you to decide. It's your 'baby', so let's see how you 'raise' him! *Bigsmile*
You don't have your bio up yet so I don't know anything about you, but as a somewhat experienced writer myself, allow me to tell you that once you get an idea in your head, you should at least get the plot down. You've done a great job here of setting a 'hook', so I think you should continue with it. But don't just set it aside and forget about it! Fresh ideas aren't easy to come by, so perhaps you should add some more to this while it's still in your fresh in your mind!
Of course, that's just my opinion and a suggestion, but I'm just trying to help you out!
Oh, and don't worry about it being perfect! That's why we have 1st and 2nd drafts, so we can polish our stories up!
So far, so good, though! The spelling and grammar was flawless, and I'd like to see how 'they' get out of this situation!
