Hi there, Sunflower! I totally agree! I was just 10 years old when SNL started airing in November of 1975, and even though the humor was kind of strange to me, it was still simple enough that I could understand most of it. Some of my fondest memories were of skits were Rosanne Rosannadanna and Belushi and Akroyd behind the counter calling out 'Cheeseburger!', 'Pepsi!' Now I'm 54 and I've tried to follow SNL as much as I could, but they went through some pretty dry spells for a while there. But that's understandable-nobody can hit a homerun every time they come up to the plate. But the best SNL I ever watched was when they and most other comedians returned after 9/11. SNL opened the show with the stage full of the first responders to the Towers, the NYPD and the FDNY, and asked 'Can we be funny now?' Anyway, great piece, Sunflower! Kee ponw ritin gon, thanks for sharing this, and LIVE...FROM NEW YORK! IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT!
