Greetings, Apologue, and happy early 1st 'birthday' on here!
Boy, oh boy! You really took that prompt and went with it in your own demented way, didn't you?
I was not expecting something like this. I wasn't sure if you were following the prompt when I first started reading it!
The idea that this 'organization' doesn't exist (and I can totally understand why they would want it be that way!) was thinking way outside of the box, and for that I commend you! But what really stood out was what these people will do to those who 'have a change of heart'!
Good Lord! If that's what they do to the 'whistleblowers', I wouldn't want to know what they're doing to the original intended targets!
But at least they didn't put it in fine print! They let you know right up front what your consequences will be should you decide to opt out of this!
