Hujambo, T Lady!
This is a really nice poem about letting a friend know that she doesn't have to go what she's going through, and I hope you gave this to her!
I can tell that you're very caring person, and the words you used to describe the pain and suffering she's enduring will hopefully be enough for her to 'take that first leap' and begin to trust in herself once again!
But that one line says it all: 'Love yourself first!' Words to live by!
I'm no expert on poetry, but the meter seemed fine, and so did the rhyming. But I don't think either of those are as important as the subject and words you used!
