Hello there, Normajean!
This is pretty good. I'm surprised it didn't win (or at least tie) in The Writer's Cramp!
You did a great job of showing how crazy holiday shopping can be, especially if you put it off to the very last minute, and then having your husband (whose intentions were good, I suppose) texting you with idea of what to get the children only added to your befuddlement!
But at least everything worked out in the end, and a lot better than either you or I imagined they would!
Flawless spelling and grammar, and everybody lived happily ever after!
At least until this time NEXT YEAR...*Smirk2*
