| (4.5)  Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Hello there, Rosalyn Wikde! I'm no expert on poetry, but as a fan of horror and most dark things, I thought this was good. What's neat about this is that I'm not sure if your wrote this from the 1st person POV or the 3rd, but that makes it more haunting, even as 'you' try to comfort your 'sweet child' and embrace them as you take them away from this life and into the darkness. It has a flavor of The Grim Reaper speaking, as well as the one who's about to go on that journey in that last stanza. Well done, my friend! Certainly something to think about too if/when my time ever comes!   Kee ponw ritin gon, Rosalyn, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write, then you're going to love it here!
