Huh. I read the poetry three times. The second because the first two lines of both stanzas were the same. The third time I slowed down, pondered for a while and then nodded my head in satisfaction.

It fascinates me how the brain works, adding depth to our thoughts by utilizing past experiences for something we can't quite explain, or we're seeing for the first time.

Sometimes when I review, my take is something quite different than the author's intention. In paintings, different minds will focus on one facet the other doesn't see.

Your poetic words encapsulated my clumsy take with words of, well, a poet. I liked the overall symmetry, humans seem drawn to it. The lines aren't always balanced (in length) but there are enough longer lines so no one in particular glares.

Surely, this was an enlightened moment for you when words spilled from your fingers.
