Greetings, Morningstar!
This is cool. I happen to love some old B/W B movies from the 50s and 60s, and H.G. Wells War of the Worlds is a classic.
For a short FF piece, you did a nice job with the story line. It's simple and to the point, and I love the idea of somebody watching a horror flick, only to find out when they leave the movie theater that it's actually happening! *Shock2*
Can't say I've heard of that concept before, so kudos on that!
Great spelling and grammar, and that ending was the icing on the cake.
