What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea*I thought of a love that stood the test of time. I thought of true romance as being something to hold on to and that endures throughout the trials of life's journey.

This is a lovely tribute to beloved and admired grandparents.

I think that poetry is such a personal thing so my reviews are my reactions to what you have shared. This certainly hit a chord with me as both sets of my grandparents and my parents were married a long long time. Free verse is a wonderful vehicle for communicating in a succinct and moving way.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

This was my favorite passage:

"Love's rose grows
among the thorns of everyday life."

Here, you tie the enduring love to the imagery of the title very well. This lovely poem proves you do not have to have a lot of words to say a great deal and to move your audience. Holding on to that rose, to what is good is an inspiring way to go forward.
