Greetings, tinker111! I am reviewing this because I am part of "I Write in 2020" . First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. What I Liked It sure feels like summer in this piece! What a great time I had feeling the splash of water in the pool, eating sweet watermelon, smelling that corn on the cob dripping with butter, hearing the cicada's singing and being mesmerized by the fireflies! And so much more. Sounds like a summer day in my own childhood, except I might add hearing the radio crackling in the background with a Tiger baseball game playing, broadcasted by Ernie Harwell. Swing and a miss! Sterrrike three! Aw, thanks for bringing back some lovely childhood memories for me, Tink. Suggestions to Consider I have absolutely no suggestions! Final Thoughts Love the imagery, along with all the senses you use. Lovely piece! Have a great day and... K e e p on W r i t i n g ! Cubby ")
