Hi Bspr2020 ! Welcome to Writing.Com! I found your poem and figured I'd stop by to give you a review *Cool* *Quill*

*StarO* This is actually a very powerful poem. I think the repetition is impactful and adds a lot of interest and pain to the tone of the poem. You ask in the brief description if you were right to stop, and I think so. You could certainly continue it, but if this is the complete thought/emotion, then it is perfectly alright to stop *Smile* What I would suggest though is centering the poem and increasing the size of the font to give it a little more "oomph" if you know what I mean. Give the words a little more presence on the page so it feels like a complete poem.

*StarG* Some other suggestions I have involve building exposure and readability of your piece. I'd say you should rethink the title first and foremost. There are so many pieces uploaded here every day, that having a good title and three genres are important. To bring more people to your item, adding appropriate genres is really important. Many people search the site for genres they are interested in, so giving your item three specific genres will entice more people to click on your item. Maybe in addition to "Dark" as a genre, you could add "Personal" and "Emotional?" Also, with the "Non-E" intro rating, you won't get as many reads. The intro rating only refers to the title, and brief description. Both of those on this item are rated "E," so you'd be safe to switch it.

*Staro* Then, once someone has opened your piece, formatting and readability are key to keep them from clicking away. As I already mentioned, I recommend increasing the font size from the standard size 3 to a size 4, or even size 5 depending on the length of the piece and the space it takes up on the page. Increasing the font size and even adding a font color will bring your piece to life and help it stand out from the rest of the wording on the site. You can read more about how to enhance your text with WritingML at this link: "Effective Formatting

*StarG* Overall, I think you have the start of a powerful and emotional piece here - good going! Don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can help you with! Again, welcome to Writing.Com! *Reading*

Take care,
Emily
