Hello Detective,

This story poem attracted me and here is a review on it for your WDC Account Anniversary. Congratulations and have a lovely day!

He headless one seems scary and fearful. The "cognomen" of Crane are hunted down by the nightly spirit. The atmosphere at night in the hollows is described with appeal.

"For darkness rides in the dead of night
Cloaked within the night itself"

Like the Highway men, the spirit rides fast and unstoppable looking for its quarry.
Imagery brings it to my mind's view.

The Crane men alone can bring the spirit to its end. Crane men seem to be the good men that can handle the night spirit thus protecting the good men of the countryside.

It is a good enough story poem. Yet, I would suggest add some sharp horror that can stun the reader.

It flows well.

Write on!
