My impression of this item was: This essay described a young lad's memories of his grandma. My paternal grandmother died when my dad was a boy so I never knew her. I have no idea what she even looked like as there are no photos of her. My maternal grandmother was one of the best cooks in the country. Many memories of her with food. This essay brought them to mind.

Your spelling and grammar: looked good to me.

What I liked most: I liked the love your character had for his grandmother. Grandmothers get to spoil kids and send them home to their parents. I will be a grandpa next summer. I am looking forward to spoiling my grandbaby.

What I liked least: the format. I prefer poetry.
