Hello Tee!

I am reviewing your drama "Not Past Redemption" as you have asked me to do so. Thank you for thinking me capable. It's a drama which I usually do not review. But this is an exception.

Commentary:

The drama has its setting in Spencer's consultancy room. Aaron has come there upon advice of a friend, Linda. He has severe time management issues and is tired of listening to the critism from the people around him. He has read several books and tried several ways to get rid of his problem but so far no way has helped him. His trustworthy and reliable friend Linda, the only person he thinks is sympathetic towards her, has told her to visit Spencer for advice as it was, according to her, the last option left.
He agrees to her and visits Spencer.

Spencer is in his mid 50's who seems to be an exceptional consultant. He is understanding and calm. He tries to listen to Aaron with full attention and wants to calmly clear his trouble. He asks Aaron several questions regarding his sleep, his point of view, his past, how he manages time and all. Aaron bursts out his feelings and tells that he wants day to be more than 24 hours (due to his time management issues). He is tired of unsympathetic and rude people around him.
Spencer gradually understands his problem and tells him to exercise what all he has 'only read in books'. Aaron probably know how to deal with things but he is bad in acting on them. As Spencer move on to suggest him things, Aaron becomes infuriated. He groups Spencer with all those rude, bad hearted people and this gives rise to heated discussions.

At some point of time, he reveals that Linda is the only sympathetic lady to her. Linda is something of whom Spencer is unaware. The setting proceeds to be gloomy but Spencer is unaffected by this as the flowers in the vase lifts his mood.
Later, Aaron says that Spencer is turning like Dr. Littlewood, whom book he had disliked and already burnt. He didn't knew at that time that Spencer is only Dr. Littlewood.

Spencer is infuriated by listening worse comments on his book and decides to leave this case. He orders Aaron to go back. At this high point, Mrs, Nightingale enters which is none other than LINDA. She makes Aaron attend seven sessions with Spencer and says that she will provide him with a huge amount of loan which relieves Aaron at depth. Upon Spencer's insistence, Linda agrees to be present in atleast five of the.sessions to act as a mediator. Aaron at the end says : Thank you so, so much, Doctor! I would listen, I would reflect, I would OBEY!

Overall Review: Not Past Redemption

This drama is written skillfully with a good sense of writing. Usage of idioms, phrases
and proverbs arouse interest. I like the line :

"we say, “none” when in reality there are “nine"".

The characters are well built. The conservation between Aaron and Spencer was lengthy and at times not necessary. At some points I felt exaggerated but it is fine as a client with disturbed situation will talk like this only. The flowers and the weather plays an important role here.

I laughed and enjoyed the fact that Dr. Littlewood was Spencer himself and Mrs. Nightingale was Linda herself. Linda seems to be a caring friend and a nice lady. She handles the situation well on both the sides. The drama has a good pace but as I told you it is not my thing to review. Your presentation was fabulous and easy to comprehend. Overall you have done a good job.

Keep writing!
