After reading your log line and having read two excerpts, I find you undersold yourself in this item. You write suspense very well. Each one of your stories has made me want to find out more and read on. This synopsis doesn't have the same effect on me. Frankie discovering inner strength, her life is in danger, detective novel writer ... all these items aren't very, uh, novel (for lack of a better word.) I think you can do much better than info-dumping a few plot points. I know you can do better because I have seen it. While the other two drew me in immediately, this one feels blah and not actually suspenseful. This is just me as a reader letting you know what worked and what didn't land.
