I have known people like willie pete. They are absolute life sucks. Meaning they suck the life out of everyone and everything around them. They are worse than vampires because they don't have any of the weaknesses that vampires have. They don't care for garlic but aren't repulsed by it as witnessed by their breath. Sunlight pisses them off but doesn't turn them to dust. And well a stake to the heart works but that is murder not manslaughter no matter how you argue it. Yep, nothing to do but avoid these cheery people.
