This one showed up on 'Read and Review' and I'm glad it did!

The title is intriguing. You could do more with the brief description and genres, if you like.

You tell the story well. The father's sentiments in the beginning would resonate with anyone who has been in the same position. Even in the most modern families there are certain gender expectations that are difficult to overcome.

I was wondering where the title would come in, and how you'd resolve the story in the space of the flash fiction you've chosen. The end brought a smile to my face, it was gentle and believable - and quite heartwarming.
