Your poem is deep. I think there is much more between the lines. In the beginning, it seems that there is a bit of despair and the emotion of wanting to give up, but toward the end, things seem brighter, and the courage to enjoy life returns because the inner self is warmed by the breeze blowing on the almost burned-out fire.

I could imagine the low struggling fire, the person struggling with life, and the eventual brightness of a brand new day that brought the joy of living back to the person's spirit.

Your poem is matter-of-fact in a style that I think fits the emotions conveyed and the situation.

I have no ideas for making your poem better because for me it works well as you wrote it.

Thank you for writing and for sharing your word art with me and WDC members.
