Facebook and selfies, can remember and relate to but did not do this a lot. The cause seems to be related to recent years especially covid times. I think I get it, but then there could be other meanings. "Loneliness" is the reason I thought about covid.

Your poem fits the 2,5,9,4,4 rhythms. Your words work well together.

It is a short poem and because of this, only a certain amount of information about the subject is available. "Note to reader" might clarify things better.

You used contest entry as one of the genres. Although this is true, you will have a better chance for nominations to The Quills and finding readers if you use "personal", maybe Historical provided this is based on historical events or something that would fit the poem.

"Computers" kinda fits as a genre, but you wrote about Facebook/social media, and Facebook can be considered a community.

Another option is "emotional" because for some people this is emotional.
