What a lovely poem!
The title, brief description and genres work.
The poem itself is short, free-verse and flows beautifully.

What I like:
That the narrator took action to feel comforted, and this seems to have worked.

What is implied (in my interpretation):
That God is always there, we can find Him where we seek Him.

Suggestion:
I've mostly seen 'God' spelt with a capital 'G' in case you'd like to do that.
