It is thoughtful poetry. The thoughts come from in-depth. Even the poet raises a vital point. In this poem, the poet deals with emotional relationships, what the narrator calls love.
The teller goes to the root of every emotion. Poverty is such a thing that can extract all possible emotions. So, a hungry person can not understand what love is! At least, if you have no problem getting food, then only you may think of love.
You can not reach your desired destinations all the time. In the first true love, the narrator was convinced, but a negative from her side did all the damage. But from his experiences, the teller understands it is not all over. The chances will come again, and that will flourish.
Through practical life incidents, the poet writes this poetry. That makes it so realistic and lively.
It is a brilliant beginning. Keep writing.
