It is truly one of the most fantastic monologues I ever read. There is no doubt about it. It is the speech of a single speaker.
Undoubtedly, it tells the speech in an entertaining mood, but the speaker wants to be aware of the curse of addiction especially when it is the obsession with sugar. It invites a lot of diseases, not only diabetes. Not only that, it also brings on serious disorders like weight gain, increased blood pressure, and inflammation, among other bodily hazards.
Sweet addiction is the same type of serious as other addictions. The person can understand the dangers of it and take an oath not to take it from the next day, but except for a few Parsons that next day never comes. So, a shadow of life risk can always be seen. It is obvious.
The author warns us through this monologue. Self-personal experiences play a key role here in this literature. The message alerts us about the incoming dangers. Despite that, the writer uses a musk of humour at the time telling the bitter truth. It is a tremendous artistry on the part of the writer.
It is a great beginning. I hope that creativity will be continued in future, too.
