I love the surprise! Generally 'blue' implies sadness, whereas you've made this a happy poem. Thanks for the smile.

I'm not sure if this actually happened or you made it up for the prompt, but why it sounded real to me - because of the small details, like the compliment on the sweater.

Suggestions: Genre ('Contest Entry', and maybe add 'Relationship')
