Hallo!
I enjoyed this heartfelt tribute to our online home, and could relate to it! You express what most of the members feel.

The title, brief description and genres work. I like the layout of the page and your pic on top! *Smile* That makes it very personal.

Suggestions:
1. You begin with a defensive, or justifying stance. Maybe you could put the gratitude part first and the response to change later ... ?
2. I'd like to have seen more specific aspects of how WDC helped you, some examples.
3. You wrote this a while ago. Maybe an update on how you feel now, especially about writing?
4. Minor typo - Knowing your here (you mean you're).
