This review is a part of "Game of Thrones"  [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

What a sweet little story this is! It brought a smile to my face, and I am certain that many readers will appreciate its gentle humour.

First of all, I could understand your feelings about getting a new dog. I felt the same way after my previous cats passed away. When you've had them in your life for so long, it's not so easy to reattach to new kitten - or a puppy, in your case. I can well imagine your daughter wearing you down, though. I remember how I used to persuade my mom to let me have a pet.

There's a lot of warmth to this story. You have a lovely writing voice. I didn't see that last paragraph coming, and it's great because it shows a happy, healthy relationship. It's no wonder that your marriage is measured in decades!

All in all, you have done an excellent job here. This is simply lovely.

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions, dear author. Not helpful, I know, but you clearly know what you're doing. The spelling's great, grammar's great and everything is as it should be. Again, well done!
