A "Game of Thrones"   by Gaby ~ Keeper Of The Realm Review

Story: Julian returns to town to attend his ten-year high school reunion, at the urging of his friend Daron. They have maintained their friendship throughout his travels and moving his business away from their hometown. He stays with Daron, his wife, and his kids and is envious of the life his friend has built for him. Daron lets Julian know that his ex will be at the reunion. They head off to the picnic the next day, and Julian runs into Betsy.

Grammar/spelling: *Thumbsupl*

Description/Emotion: I liked the friendship between these two men. The man-hug and back-patting tell the reader that this is a lifelong friendship. You did a great job showing Julian's shock when he sees Betsy and her son. He definitely needs that conversation and some answers. Daron freely admitted he didn't know how to tell his friend about the child was a nice touch. It showed why he was so insistent that Julian come home and attend the reunion.

Overall Impression: Written to the backdrop of the Eagles New Kid in the Town. I picked this story out of your collection because it's one of my favorite Eagles songs, and the story did not disappoint. I liked that you used the title for the story's last line.
