It's a poem of true love. A proper love should be unconditional. That does not mean that you forget that friend who came in time of danger and rescued you. Now you don't need help from that friend. So you refused to know that helper. But, we don't know what role the will play. Suppose you need help of that friend, but after today's denial, can you beg help from him? If you can, you must be shameless.
It's a brilliant beginning.
