Hallo D.L. Robinson !*Smile*
I will be reviewing your work "Words That Bind for House Targaryen on behalf of "Game of Thrones

*Dragon2* Content:

This is a story written for a contest where objects are personified. In this case, we are seeing things from the POV of a young girl's diary, and oh the sad stories it tells.

*Dragon2* Pluses:

*Bullet* I don't think I've ever cheered or almost wanted to scream so much for a book to be found. I was literally begging July to find that book, and that is a testament to just how well you were able to pull off the challenge. Yes, it's a common trope of the diary being the most precious of things to our characters, but being able to make them come to live in such a manner is another thing altogether.

*Bullet* There is a particular line that sticks out to me and this is right in the first paragraph:
But I'm thick and I've got a strong hard back so I can speak for her.
If that alone doesn't represent just about every diary out there, I don't know what does. It perfectly captures how many of us feel when we find our private moments to scribble in all our lips cannot say. We know that this 'object' is our best friend and confidante who is able to shoulder all our burdens until we are ready to share it with others.

*Bullet* The subject matter is a very touching and troubling one, and the realization that this is not some 'fiction' and that such things do happen each and every single day breaks ones heart. How many diaries are out there now screaming for their own Julys to find them? The characters you've portrayed are very much 'real' to us. From a father we want locked away immediately, to brave young girls - led by July - who seek a way to escape the clutches of a man they're supposed to trust and rely on. Almost makes you wonder how their mother passed away, doesn't it?

What a brilliant story this was all around. Thanks so very much for sharing it, and keep on writing! *Bigsmile*
