The prologue suggested that the novel would be an interesting autobiography of the teller. It was an ancient period's story. Every kingdom liked to control over the neighbourhood kingdom. It was very brutal. They always searched for the weak points of others. To perform they could make joint ventures with the same dirty mentality.
Even, today that dirty politics. So, wise people advise us not to disclose weak points to anybody.
I expect a nice novel.
