The poem is captivating and narrates the experience of encountering a mythical sea creature under the moonlit sky. The poem is a great blend of elements of awe and terror, drawing readers into the deep and unpredictable world of maritime folklore.

Free verse style allows the narrative to flow smoothly as it builds tension and wonder. The rhythm has an occasional internal rhyme and measured line breaks, effectively mirroring the ebb and flow of the ocean. Your use of vivid imagery and dramatic presentation intensifies the mystical atmosphere.

A massive tail rose toward the heavens,
His front half bent down to the lowest hell.
Then he slammed the hammer down on the water,
