About This Newsletter

The fourth round slowed a bit. After thinking about it, I went back to make sure I had posted the contest on the "Writing Contests @ Writing.Com, I can see now that I didn't. So exposure for the contest was at a minimum other than those who read the newsletter. That being said, we did have one entry that stood out from the crowd. The winning entry was:

 The Marketplace  (13+)
The Gift Point shopping mall on Writing.Com.
#1405659 by Writing.Com Support

Hey, have you heard the news? Writing Dot Com has a Marketplace, where we can buy items with our gift points. These are items that other members wish to put up for sale, and can be anything from reviews to hand made jewelry, it is all up to you. Drop in and visit new C-note shops. Others offer images for sale; some offering reviews. Come buy and see just what tickles your fancy.

Do you have something to trade for gift points? Offer it up at the Marketplace. You never know who may be in the market (no pun intended) to buy just what you have excess of.

Perhaps you are photographer and wish to offer some real pictures for use as sigs here on site. Place the photos in a static item and enter the id# at the Marketplace.

Maybe you have schooling in literature or grammar and can offer a class or two for others, plug it at the Marketplace and let others come to you.

Whether you wish to teach a class, design a sig, sale a photo, if Gift Points are the value you trade in, then the Marketplace is where you want to go to sell your goods!

Remember there are a few basic rules and guidelines to follow when posting at the Marketplace, so be sure to follow them.

Ask & Answer

I didn't really ask any questions of last week, but I did request that anyone wishing to promote a contest submit the id# so that we could take turns highlighting your contest in these later editions. In return I would help with the prizes for the round that was used in the publication. There were but three small entries. I know there are more of you out there running contests. So lets here from you. Drop us a line and tell us a little bit about your contest. Be sure to include the id# of your contest in the highlight ID section.
