Oh . . . the Horror
Horror will find you, bind you, and make your life a living Hell. You can't even imagine what it will be like, because horror is the actual unveiling of your apprehension.
Can you sense it? It has brought its friends for you to meet, Fear and Terror, all eager to begin dissecting your brain, twisting your stomach queasy.
Horror is seeing the grisliness,the gruesomeness, the ghastliness of what you've been so afraid to behold. But then, look out, there it is, right in front of you, in all its repulsive, horrid dreadfulness.
Horror is the feeling one gets after coming to an awful realization or experiencing a deeply unpleasant occurrence. In other words, horror is more related to being shocked or scared (being horrified), while terror is more related to being anxious or fearful. The Horror has also been defined as a combination of terror and revulsion.
Stephen King himself made the point in his brief essay Why We Crave Horror Movies: “The mythic horror movie, like the sick joke, has a dirty job to do,” he wrote. “It deliberately appeals to all that is worst in us. It is morbidity unchained, our most base instincts let free, our nastiest fantasies realized.”
So, The Horror, is the abomination, the gore, the overwhelming and painful feeling caused by something frightfully shocking, terrifying, or revolting; a shuddering fear that makes you shrink back from the mutilated corpse. That, is The Horror.
Horror leans toward the darkest, sickest, most unimaginable things you can think of (or not think of...because it's unimaginable). It will have visions of Love, God, Death, and twisted minds.
As you confront real horror you will start to lose grip on what's real within the confines of your mind. It touches so close on reality that it has the power to make religious readers send hate mail, mothers hold their children close, and youngsters take a serious look at their lives and think about whether they are making the right decisions. Horror gives you a reason to love life, and be grateful for the things you have, knowing all along it could be much, much worse.

Consumed By Horror
When I look for good stories, I'm more impressed with ideas rather than correctness. If the idea takes my breath away its worth reading through till the end. Good writing is when you master storytelling techniques, but strange and original ideas are like 'cosmic horror'.

How in the heck did you squirm inside my head and enter right into my bunker-busting thoughts? It's not the crinkling of cellophane, mister! The Big Brother effect happened many years ago. The singularity of the Biggest Lie will settle down from the wind torn sky and flood the entire earth. It's gonna be Nasty! We're living in the Bad-Ass generation. There will be a collision between two worlds. I can only add that George Orwell was spot on. His novel, 1984, is more in the nature of the prophetic than fiction. The government has told its biggest lie to humanity. I considered it to be the set up for what is yet to come.
Obama is not a help, instead, he is a hindrance.

I have to say in regards to a scary scene that still bothers me today is the Blair's Witch Project when the guy is hung at the end. It seemed so real till this day I wonder if that really happened. The other one that spokes the heck out of me is the Paranormal Activity movies. I'm getting the chills about those two. Gee whiz. I love your newsletters.
