Ways to say thank you on Writing.Com.


Every country, at least every culture has set aside a day or week to celebrate the harvest of the year. In the United States, it's Thanksgiving on the last Thursday in November. Yes, there are those who say it's just an excuse to eat too much and go shopping the next day. Okay, those of you who feel that way, you are correct. Now, let's leave that pessimism behind us and talk about our writing harvest.

Go through your portfolio and see what you have written this year. Take a moment to read the reviews you received. The best way to say "thank you" on this site is to return the favor by sending a review back. Choose an item in the portfolios of the members who reviewed you, read it, and send them a review for it too.

Short of time, but still want to say "thank you?" Send a merit badge. We have so many colorful merit badges. Somebody who invested their time into your writing probably deserves one of those shiny ones to adorn their portfolio.

Short of time and gift points? C-notes are a neat way to send a colorful greeting with a thoughtful note and they cost only a fraction of a merit badge most of the time.

No gift points at all? Go back to the top. Send a review. Show your appreciation. It's going to be worth your time.
