You think it's too early for the preparations? Writing.com birthday is right around the corner and there's a lot of cool stuff brewing. I tend to fan those cool contests and activities which pop out right around that time and let me tell you, there will be more than plenty to participate in!

For one, the cool new thing would be "Note: We have good news! There are going to be more epis..." so don't forget to check it out! You can record your message and send it in or email them with a written message which they will read for you. Jay's debut novel is out now! and Sara♥Jean are looking forward to hearing from you! Please, send your messages/emails/recordings by August 15th, so they have plenty of time to finish everything up.

An oldie but goodie would be "WDC Birthday Ice Cream Social 2018" . If you're fearing an ice cream or like to donate one, this would definitely be the place to do so once the time comes.

What are your plans for this year's birthday though? Are planning on running an activity or are you going to be rushing around the site trying to participate? Or, are you like me and want to do a little bit of both? *Bigsmile*

Well, if you do plan on having something created for that particular time, The StoryMistress will email everyone when the time is near. That way you can add your activity to the list and get a lot more exposure for it. Check out "Note: Cause some folks are pretty crazy on top of thing..." and you'll know what I'm talking about.

So! Are you ready to party or what? Yes? Well, wait!

We still have plenty of time and there is one activity in particular I'd like to show you. This has been a favorite of mine ever since joining Writing.com.

kiyasama has been an inspiration to me ever since I got introduced to this wonderful community. I think, back then, she had been a blue case but her works of art had been known around the whole site. Her signatures are famous and I've always seen her as a mentor even though I've rarely dared to ask for advice. The lady is always busy and back then, I was still shy. Not anymore! When she said she'll be bringing "Musicology Anthology"  back to life in August, I was ecstatic! Needless to say I can't wait for it to be ready and open to public because I'll be the first one knocking on its door. I hope you join me! It'll keep us entertained until Writing.com rolls around. *Wink*
