You know the silence that starts at dawn.
That's where I will always hold our love.
You know the laughter, waves make, hitting the shore.
That's where I will always treasure our joys.
You know the song, the wind sings among the trees.
That's where I will always place our journeys.
You know the tears the river sheds to the sea.
That's where I will always leave our troubles.
You know where the day says hello to the night.
That's where I will always embrace our love.
You know the sparkle you see in my eyes.
That's where I will always show 'I love you.'
 Love is in the air.

Love and Friendship

How Do I Love Thee?

My Life – Our Future
What happened to my life?
My love, my goals and dreams.
My world revolves around you now,
but, it seems that you long for another.
I think of us, trying to fulfill our dreams,
living for the promise of a beautiful tomorrow.
I am the woman I am today,
because, my past has made me stronger.
I could only see you in my future,
one that we should be exploring together.
Should I regret the chances that blew by
should I have been looking for another?
What have I done to my life?
Have I lost sight of my love, goals and dreams?
My world shouldn’t revolve around you now,
because, you are exploring others lives.
You always promise that you can be true,
but, you have broken my heart again.
Your eyes reflect the love I’ve given,
yet, I continue to live through the lies.
Trying only to move forward,
and put the heartbreak of yesterday behind.
I listen to the ticking of the clock,
as time moves ever so slowly by.
Should I forgive the constant indiscretions?
Can you keep your new promise?
Or will you become cleverer,
and hide your secret rendezvous away?
Can you be true, and mend this broken heart?
Can you rebuild my trust and our beautiful future!
Do I leave with one final heart break,
or do I stay and let you slowly chip it away?
What should I do with my life?
Live for my love, my goals and dreams.
My world revolves around my decision,
should I go or should I stay?

Wrenched free
from the perverted anguish
of yesterday,
I tread
warily on angled rock,
not knowing
the promise of tomorrow –
or you.
The wind blew chances
my way;
in my infinite grief,
they passed,
trodden by my relentlessly,
tormented soul.
Now I see you –
unabashedly garnering
little slivers of hope,
placing them
woefully at my feet,
like the
sacrifices that they are.
I stop
to reflect on time,
deciding that
the endless ticking is,
indeed, enough.
Allowing myself
to capture a glimmer
of hope,
I fall into you.
