Dennis plans his next move.
A/N: I created Jimmy and the rest, please don’t steal and all that other stuff. Also, sorry it took so long for this chapter. I had a lot of stuff to do and I promise the next chapter will be longer.

Chapter 5: Fair Game

Lance was sitting in his luxurious mansion’s living room while taking huge swigs from a near empty bottle of brandy, watching the ten o’ clock news with a very grim expression.

“…Six dead, and one injured in the aftermath of the viscous shootout that took place within “Winslow’s Italianate” late last night. Among the dead was known felon and owner of the restaurant Jack Winslow, who was found brutally dismembered in his own kitchen. We…”

Dennis didn’t want to hear the rest. He quickly shot up and switched the television off and began to pace the room. Sitting on the sofa across from Lance was his assistant, Mr. White.

“What the fuck am I gonna do, huh? Every where I go Kroe is there waiting for me! He’s putting a major dent in our operations!”, says Lance while shakily pouring another glass of brandy.

“Sir, please calm down. Do you really think that one man could bring down your entire operation? We have nothing to worry about.”, Says White, trying desperately to calm his furious boss.

“Were you not here a few minutes ago when the news was on? Did you not here what he did to Winslow and his guards? Remember Big M? Last I saw him his brains were decorated around his office! Jimmy is getting to close, I want him dead!”, Screams Lance, while emptying his glass in one big gulp.

“With all due respect sir, we don’t even know where he’s hiding.”, replies White.

Dennis stands silently, deep in thought, his one good eye staring down at the crimson carpet.

“Sir?…”

“Shut up you moron. I’m thinking.”, Dennis snaps back coldly. After a few moments of silence Dennis final speaks up.

“I got it. I want you to spread the word to every low life, skinhead, gang banger, bounty hunter, and junkie. Fifty thousand dollar reward to who ever brings me the corpse of Jimmy Kroe.”, Dennis proclaims with a smirk.

“Are sure so much, sir?”, White sheepishly asks.

“Yes you idiot. I can make it back in less then a week. Now leave. I whish to be alone.”

And with that, Mr. White turns and scurries for the door. Lance walks over to his window and stares out at the vast city.

“Soon, Jimmy, soon.”
