This is a tribute to someone.
For Andy


The carousel was spinning
and the horses were a blur.

A dizzy dazzling kaleidoscope
with rusty gears that whir.

Will it stop and let me on
and carry me away.

Maybe people that I've loved
will be on board today.

If only I could hear them say
within the calliope playing,

that they will stay forever and
never fade away.
