Love

Love is a powerful thing,
It can take over your life.
You become obsessed with the person that you love,
Writing their name on things without even knowing it.
Who can’t wait for the day when the person you love asks you out.
You can’t sleep,
You can’t eat without thinking of the one that you love.
You grow anxious,
You finally snap,
And ask the one you love out in a letter folded all nice.
You wait for the answer,
The one you love sighs.
“ No,” is the word of rejection,
You fall into a hole of misery.
The person that you love doesn’t love you back,
You are in misery.
You waste all your time in thinking about the person who so wrongly rejects you,
Longing to go out with them,
And writing their name everywhere.
You will always love this person,
But you are hurt by the rejection.
God must have a different plan,
Somebody else will be there for you.
To be the one that you marry in the past.
