What its like on the receiving end.

Run away, Run away
Watch the sky turn an evil gray
Marking trouble as it may
Complete your daily chores
And then lock all your doors

A storm is brewing from every which way
I saw it start a while ago
But never did I expect or even know
He would turn into this
A giant evil abyss

His eyes have turned black
He has got me on my back
And there is nowhere to go
The kids don't need a show

So I swallow my tears
And hang up all my fears
And hope it will be over soon

I know there are others out there
Who feel they can no longer bear
The pain a man hid so well
Only to give a horror story to tell
But keep your head up high
And please understand you will die

Don't think this sorry means more than the last
Buckle up your suitcase and get out fast
Cause there is no pain like the one on the face
Of a child who sees their mama on these awful days
Things will get easier I should know
I was somewhere no one else should have to go

So you got that feeling something ain't right
Run away, Get away, Fly as high as a kite
There is no reason to suffer through that pain
And at ALL costs you have to keep sane
Cause when that storm comes along
It's too late to realize you were wrong
