A poem of nature's northern beauty. It has some fantasy elements in it.
Hear the call, icy song
Glacier ballad, snowing long
Avalanche course, mountain night
Northern lights, mystic might
Call of the wild, ever so mild
Walk the night, sleepless dream
Hidden cave, frozen swine
Cold in the grave, ride the flame
Day-like night, northern breeze
Calling me, sudden peace
Midnight rage, howl of wolf
The snowstorm will engulf
Eagle proud, sweeping low
Flash of claw; prideless show
Shiny sun, snowy field
Tragedy, unable to yield
Sing the call, whisper a shout
Sleeping beauty, no doubt
Nature’s war, calling love
Keep it safe, flying dove
Not now, not past
Ageless future will last
Weeping for the only kill
Someone pleads, no one will
Smokey hut, shaman trance
Talking not, endless dance.
Tortured life, man’s treason
Sudden death, no reason
Blood-red snow, velvet night
Wolf asks, what is right?
Silvery light, moon’s beam
Only mine, the end will come.
