A corrupted metropolis towers out of Earth's soft soil, these are the stories of it.
Dark purple, angry clouds formed swiftly in the one peaceful night sky. Big fat raindrops ran to the earth, making everything reachable wet. A cold front rushes in, making it chilly. People run out of the streets, not wanting to get wet, going to taverns, bars, and houses. But three vans made their way to a skyscraper, stopping in front of it. The doors open, two feet on either side touch the wet street. Then, men in tuxedo-like suits appear, wearing black shades. 12 of these men stand still in the pouring rain, as if waiting for something, or someone.
A black Firebird came up, stopping as the left front wheel rolls over the sidewalk. Now, it's in a position where it looks like it's about to fall over. It came to a complete stop with the left side up onto the sidewalk. The Firebird bore no marks, having anything spray-painted in black.

A tall, afro'ed black man walked out of the Firebird. He slams the door shut, wearing shades with a sucker in his mouth. This is Rufus Ashot, general of the secret organization. He is one tough-nail, very influential, and hard to take down. He has a furry face, a great, poofy beard and an afro on top of his head with sideburns. Brown, tangled hair around his face and head. He walks to the group of twelve men, the white sucker stick moving from his left to their left. He stops short and spits the suckerless stick on the sidewalk.
"We ready?" Rufus asks in his deep, rich voice. They just nod. Rufus walks up to the glass door, the room has no one in it. He reaches into his suit, which is wet, everyone is throughly wet. He pulls a magnum out, then reaches into the other side of his suit. A long, steel pipe looking silencer is in his hand. AS Rufus screws the silencer onto his magnum, the 12 men reach into their suits to produce guns. Four of the twelve men have shotguns, and eight of the twleve men take out Uzi's. They soon formed a formation, the shotguns went into the middle and the Uzi's surrounded them.

It's like a tank, the guys with the shotguns take down anyone in front, while the Uzi's supported them from all sides. Rufus aims his silenced magnum at the glass doors, pulling the trigger. No sound came out of the mag as it went up and down. The glass shatters, making some sound, falling to the ground in pieces. The 12 men now load up their guns in unison, awaiting the unknown to come at them. Rufus didn't like how loud the glass was, when shattering all over the ground. He signals by raising his right closed fist into the air, then moves it forward, as if knocking on a door. The tightly compact group walked into the room, the Uzi's keeping an eye on the sides while the shotguns kept the front. They look around, nothing, then give Rufus the clean signal.
Rufus walks into the empty room, looking around just in case.
"Remember, why we here?" Rufus asks in sign language. They have to keep silence for as long a possible.
"Yeah, free the innocent. Kill the infestation." They reply back, nodding seriously. Rufus did a small nod back at them, then looks around the room. The wall-to-wall carpeting is a shade of blood red, quite dark. It looked like there is roman decorations on the wall, covered by real gold. And a short, oak desk that has a dell computer on it. Besides the mouse, monitor, tower and keyboard, the desk is utterly clean. On the left is the hallway that
brought them to the dining hall. To the right, lead to the rooms and upward.

Two men with Uzi's joined Rufus as the rest of the men held their ground. Rufus silently made his way to the dining room. He looks through the keyhole, seeing if anyone is there. There is two groups of people chatting among each other. Rufus looked intently on them. Then, faint green auras pulsed off of them; infected beings. Rufus stepped back a couple of feet, then walks to the door, bringing his right foot onto the door. They slammed open, causing the two groups to look over at the doors. The two men with Uzi's walked pass Rufus, who merely stood there, fast and crouched low. A storm of bullets went into the infected people, causing them to be riddled with holes that leak with their infected blood. The two men grinned wickedly, their hands shaking from the Uzi's. The noise traveled the skyscraper, when Rufus got into the hallway, clattering came from everywhere. Rufus looked up at the ceiling, the two Uzi's stopped smiling and looked around in puzzlement. It sounded as if metal, spider legs frantically scurrying across metal. Then, a howl of unimaginable horrors pierced through the air, and a battle could be heard from the front room - where the tank-like group held. Rufus quickly signaled them to help out. The two men nod and quickly join their brethren.
Rufus ran down the hall, seeing two weird looking humanoids jump in front of him. They looked quite insane, and they kept licking their lips. They slowly approached Rufus, bright green auras around them. Heavily infected, to the point of no return. A shotgun took the left one down, but his friend kept on walking, not caring for the fallen. Rufus aimed carefully at him. The creature licked his lips, then keeps his tongue out as he lunges for Rufus. A fire is heard, then a dead shell hit the ground. Rufus lets out a breath, screwing the silencer off and placing it back into his suit. He moves to the group of 12 standing men, none have green auras, which is good.

Rufus said nothing, what is there to be said? He looks around, scanning. Well, the carpet is still red, the walls riddled with holes. Those that are infected, or were, lay on the floor, motionless, tongues out of their gaping mouths. They decided to head up, having a mission. They met no resistance on the stairs. At the top, Rufus looked around a corner, seeing two creatures together at the end of the hallway. As he looked at his group, he heard a long howl. The four shotguns reloaded slowly, everyone is blood splattered.
"I'll take care of them." Rufus spoke softly, making him seem deeper. He gets up and walks slowly into the hallway. He brings up his gun and a fire echoed loudly across everywhere. One creature held it's knee, the right one. Rufus felt sad and happy. Happy that they can feel pain, and said to know that they both can feel emotions. The uninjured creature stopped dead in it's tracks, looking over at it's ally. The wounded creature knew what's going to happen, shook it's head and tries to get away, horror on it's insane face. He tries to run - or limp - away, blood pouring down his leg. The other creature jumped on it, a scene of utter disgust followed suit.

Rufus aims his gun at them and fires. The bullet flies into the hungry creature's shoulder, sending some of the flesh exploding into the air. He fell to his right, where the bullet hit, and looks insanely at him, a lust in his eyes. Another round fired, another limp, corrupted body. The ripped up creature looks up at him. Not insanely, but beggingly. Rufus fired another shot. He ejects his empty clip, as he does this, he grabs a full clip then snaps it shut.
"How many left?" He asks softly.
"We almost destroyed infection." One of the men says. Sudden, thunder boomed outside, causing a sonic boom.
"The innocent?" He asks another question. 12 men think, trying to feel around them.
"Well, they're still there." One of them says, scratching his fuzzy chin.
"OK, time to search for them. I want a room by room sweep of this sky scraper" Rufus orders them. Soon, they , after reloading their guns, begin to do a room by room, sweep, going to the next floor when clearing out the last. Rufus thought of splitting up, but they could lose a group or won't be able to meet up again. This skyscraper has about 90 floors to it, so they have alot of stairs to climb.

Rufus pants as he slowly walks up the last of the steps. His feet felt like lead, dead weight tired. The twelve men panted behind him, but not as much. Rufus plops himself against the wall next to the door. Rufus brings his feet up to him some, placing his wrists on the knee caps. He tilts his head back on the wall, allowing his eyes to close. His eyelids felt heavy, he didn't want to fall asleep. They have a job to do. So, he forced to listen to the group banter among each other. Some stood against the walls, arms crossed. Some sat, one with a shotgun sat on the stairs, going to the ceiling. Why didn't they use the elevator? That would of made the trip much easier, and they wouldn't be on the stairs, panting. Rufus didn't trust the elevators, they could of plummet to their deaths.
"I can't wait till next week. Be my birthday." The guy on the staircase says. He settles the shotgun on it's butt right next to him.
"Oh? Still not getting you anything. Unless, you make it my while.." The man against the wall suggests, grinning. Rufus smiles at this. Good to hear his men relaxing in this infected, corrupted building in this corrupted metropolis.
"Shut up, you, I think I deserve something, especially after tonight." he says as he lights up a smoke. A thin wisp of white fog goes into the air.
"Yeah? You say that after every mission we do." The man against the wall says.
"No, we all deserve something after tonight." Rufus states, then adds "Maybe a spa or foot massage."
This got a few laughs from the group.

Unbeknowist to them, an insane creature is sneaking up to one of them - the guy on the staircase. Rufus would probably have seen him, but his eyes are closed. The guys should of felt him, but they are on break. Suddenly, two large, chalky white hands that looked moist grabs the stairway guy.
"Hey!" He says as he's pulled up, feeling the wet tongue wrap around his neck. He fights but also watches himself being pulled up. Watches his shotgun fall to the ground, Rufus and the guys getting up and running to his rescue.
Then darkness.
"G-3!!" Rufus calls out to him, aiming his magnum up into the darkness. No reply. He fires randomly up there, only doing it a couple of times. It's backed up by a couple of Uzi shots, then the creature fell out of the darkness, limp on the metal floor. Then, a headless body fell where G-3 use to be. Exposed circuits didn't flicker, just a bleak blackness, death.
"Oh... my... god!" G-4 nearly gags at the sight, adverting his sight. The rest started down at the body in horror, Rufus walking up to it and nudging it lightly on the shoulder with his right booted foot.

"G-3, you have not died in vein." Rufus said softly. As he spoke, G-2 mutters:
"His birthday would of been next week..." Rufus checks his gun, four shots left. He loads it up and cocks it.
"Come on, help me." Rufus says as he picks up G-3's upper body. G-1 picks up G-3's lower body, and both of them sorrowfully throws him down the stair cases.
"Why did we do that?" G-1 asks, minutes pass, silence.
"Rufus, will he make the fall intact?" G-1 asks again.
"We'll see, but for now, let's get going." Rufus says, and grabs the shotgun that use to belong to G-3, then walks to the door. G-1 stares at him, wondering why he did that.
"Wonder where's his head is..." G-12 questions.
"Now, G-12, don't say things like that." G-1 scorns him.
