Love can be hard sometimes...
A hundred tears, plus a hundred more
Still she hurts
A dreaded felling, oh so torn
She wants to be one with the dirt

A vision that refuses to go away
She feels unrelenting pain,
For bestowing her heart to a dream
The fingers that coil about her heart
The claws that want to tear it apart
Hopelessly she feels the way she does
And wishes for what never was.

The kindness that everyone wants
The warmth of love that everyone flaunts
She knows this'll never be
The person she loved was a figment of her imaginings

He had seemed so real
So to, had the emotions she would feel
Like her, her world fell to chaos
And refused her the simple right to be the boss
To have a say in what was broken
And what would remain whole
He felt no shred of remorse for what he stole

Stole from her what would take years to rebuild
What would take forever to refill

Her heart jumps at the thought
Of a brand new life
But like all other things
It's silenced with a knife

The depression that wont go away
The horrible feeling that won't obey
She still wishes to start her life a new
But that clawed hand continued to do what it loved to do
She wished to hide
To run the other way
and hope to death the scars would fade.
