I little poem about our service people in Iraq, and the citizens they are serving
The war in Iraq is on the news.
But why is it the correspondent’s views?
It is always the sad,
And never the glad.
It is time to bring in new crews.

But I am here to tell one and all,
The U.S. will not take a fall.
The Iraqi's are glad,
That we ain’t so bad,
For we will all join and stand tall.

The day will come soon enough,
They just won’t take anymore guff.
The insurgents will leave,
And the people will weave,
A democracy that won’t be all fluff.

Saddam’s name will be no more,
They will just think of him as a bore.
He ruined the land,
With a wave of his hand,
And now, they have shown him the door.

Hooyah, Semper Fi and Aim High,
The Armed Forces motto’s they cry,
When trouble was near,
They showed no fear,
To ensure the Iraqi’s would not die.
